The innovation price WPC would like to inspire the WPC industry - but also interested companies foreign to industries - for innovative ideas in the product development and in the product design. The competition would like to stimulate the development of new, material-appropriate applications and markets for the Wood-Plastic-Composites (WPC). In the center of the innovation price are innovations which are already realized or will be shortly before the market launch.

The winners of the competition are announced immediately on and after the congress by accompanying press work to a broadly diversified audience.

Product -, technology- and procedure innovation

In the center of the product innovation is product made of WPC which should have come in 2009 on the market or its market launch immediately approach. Pure ideas or product samples without marketing concept as well as design studies are not accepted.

Technology innovation means special developments in the field of the procedure optimization, in the mechanical engineering and tool construction, in the recipe or similar categories. The technology term is far caught here consciously. These innovations should be been used for the first time in 2009 or be marketable at least.
